Emma started working in accountancy in 2018 and became AAT qualified in September 2022. She has experience in many sectors including retail, tradespersons, charities, and healthcare amongst others. Emma enjoys helping our clients develop best practise in daily bookkeeping, implementing software into their businesses to streamline workflow, in turn releasing time to focus on business development. She relishes in watching a clients businesses grow, helping them to ‘work smarter, not harder’.
Before becoming an accountant, Emma worked with deaf and hard of hearing students in main-stream schools using British Sign Language to communicate. This skill has transferred to her current role in assisting a niche portfolio of clients who are also deaf or hearing impaired.
In her spare time, Emma coordinates a motor racing championship and can be found on many weekends at a racetrack with her family either as the coordinator or as a spectator. Any spare time left is filled with cooking, walking, and enjoying the local countryside or catching up with friends.
